Three typical enquiries

How Griffi takes the enquiry.

Scenario 1

Rebuilding or building a garden wall

Call: A homeowner wants the old garden wall taken down and rebuilt and asks when someone can come round.

Questions Griffi asks

  1. Record the address, callback number and contact person.
  2. Note what should be built: length and height only as the customer states them, plus the material, such as natural stone, facing brick or rendered.
  3. Ask whether an old wall has to be taken down and removed, and how to reach the spot.
  4. Offer a site visit or note a callback, depending on your setup.

Outcome: A complete enquiry with a site visit or a callback. What happens to the old wall, what the foundation needs and what it costs, you settle on site.

Scenario 2

Knocking through a wall

Call: A homeowner wants to join the kitchen and the living room and asks whether the wall between them can be opened up.

Questions Griffi asks

  1. Record the property type, address and floor; the year of construction only as the customer states it.
  2. Note what is planned: an opening, a new doorway or removing a wall completely.
  3. Ask whether building plans exist and whether an architect or structural engineer is already involved.
  4. Say nothing about whether the wall is load-bearing or whether the alteration is possible.

Outcome: The case shows the project, the property and the documents available. Whether the wall is load-bearing and what the opening needs, your business assesses on site.

Scenario 3

Foundation or concrete base

Call: A customer needs a concrete base for a garden shed and wants to know when you can pour it.

Questions Griffi asks

  1. Note what will stand on the base, such as a shed, a carport or a garage, and its size as the customer states it.
  2. Clarify access: can a vehicle get to the spot, or is it behind the house?
  3. Ask whether the area is already clear or still has to be dug out.
  4. Record the preferred timeframe and note a site visit or a callback.

Outcome: An enquiry with the project, access and timeframe. Build-up, thickness and price are set by your team after the visit.

Quotes and invoices

Which documents Griffi prepares.

01 · Live

Site visit and measurements

Enquiry, property and the agreed appointment are one case before you drive out.

02 · Live as draft

Quote

After the visit, Griffi prepares a quote draft from your details. You check the items and prices.

03 · Manual handoff

Interim payment

Interim invoices by construction progress are not an automated Griffi feature; they stay in your existing process.

04 · Live as invoice draft

Final invoice

Once you have checked the work, a standard invoice can be prepared, reviewed by you and sent manually.

Important: down-payment and partial invoices are not currently a dedicated automated Griffi feature. Interim payments remain in the company’s existing invoicing process; Griffi records information and tasks without promising automation that does not exist.

Emergency service & on-call duty

A damaged wall: safety first, no assessment over the phone.

  • If someone reports a wall damaged after an accident or a storm, Griffi first asks whether parts could fall or anyone is hurt. If there is danger, the fixed safety message follows: keep clear and call the emergency services.
  • Griffi does not say whether a wall will hold and gives no instructions for propping or securing it.
  • What counts as urgent, your service area and the callback order follow only the rules you have approved.

Live handover to the company is used only when enabled with a valid on-call number and suitable telephony configuration. Otherwise Griffi records a structured urgent callback. For immediate danger, callers must contact emergency services themselves; Griffi never transfers to emergency services.

Frequently asked questions

Does Griffi say whether a wall is load-bearing or an old wall will hold?

No. Griffi asks the questions you have set and records the answers, for example whether building plans exist. Whether a wall is load-bearing, an old wall can stay and what an alteration needs, your business assesses on site.

Can Griffi book site visits?

Yes, with the Appointments & Follow-up module in addition to the AI Phone. Griffi then offers free slots from your Google or Microsoft calendar or from fixed time windows. Without the module, Griffi notes the preferred time and you call back.

Does Griffi write the quote for the wall or the foundation?

Griffi prepares a quote draft, for example from what you dictate after the site visit. You check the items and prices, approve the quote and send it yourself.

Does Griffi create interim invoices by construction progress?

No. Deposit and interim invoices are not an automated Griffi feature and stay in your existing process. Once you have checked the work, Griffi can prepare a standard final invoice as a draft; you review it and send it manually.
