Griffi’s application runs in Nuremberg. Text, phone calls and internal voice sessions are processed in the EU. Customer files and encrypted external backups use EU object storage. Here is the data path for each service.

The database, files, text AI and phone service use different services. An EU region for one function does not automatically cover the whole product.

Customer files and encrypted external backups are configured for EU jurisdiction. The globally distributed network edge must be considered separately.

Text-based AI functions such as summaries, extraction and text drafts are configured for processing in an EU region.

Calls, greetings and internal voice sessions are processed in the EU. The AI provider remains a US company; our privacy policy and DPA explain possible further access.

The application database, files, backups and text AI already have specifically documented EU data paths; the global edge remains separate.
AI notices and human review
We implement practical measures for AI transparency and human control and continue to track the EU AI Act.
EU region does not mean EU ownership
Where data is processed and who owns the provider are different questions. EU inference does not categorically exclude further provider access.
This page describes our technical product design. It is neither a blanket compliance promise nor legal advice. The privacy policy and DPA cover further transfers to third countries, including support access, and the binding details.
Text and speech
EU processing comes as standard.
Griffi’s text and speech AI does not require an additional EU option. Standard processing stays in the EU. An explicitly agreed alternative hosting path is not silently changed.
Together with Melious, we also evaluate a separate European provider path. This is an additional provider choice, not a requirement for Griffi’s EU processing.
