Three typical enquiries

How Griffi takes the enquiry.

Scenario 1

Re-tiling a bathroom

Call: A homeowner wants the bathroom floor and walls re-tiled, gives a rough size and asks for a quote and a visit.

Questions Griffi asks

  1. Record the address, callback number and contact person.
  2. Note what is to be tiled, such as the floor, the walls or the shower, and the size only as the customer states it.
  3. Ask whether the old tiles are to come off and whether the new ones have been chosen yet.
  4. Offer a site visit or note a callback, depending on your setup.

Outcome: A complete enquiry with a site visit or a callback. You settle measurements, the surface underneath and the price on site.

Scenario 2

Floor tiles in a new build

Call: A client building a new house wants the hallway, kitchen and living room tiled and asks when you could start.

Questions Griffi asks

  1. Note which rooms are to be tiled and whether anyone lives in the house yet.
  2. Ask who coordinates the build: the client, an architect or a developer.
  3. Record the state of the site as the caller describes it, for example whether the screed is down.
  4. Note the preferred timeframe.

Outcome: The case shows who places the order, which rooms are planned and when the client would like to start. Your team checks on site whether the floor is ready for tiling.

Scenario 3

A cracked tile or crumbling grout

Call: A tenant reports crumbling grout in the shower and a cracked wall tile.

Questions Griffi asks

  1. Clarify whether the caller is the owner, a tenant or the managing agent, and who places the order.
  2. Note where the problem is, roughly how big it is and since when.
  3. Ask whether spare tiles from the original job are still available.
  4. Ask when someone can be there for a visit.

Outcome: The case shows who places the order, what the caller can see and whether matching tiles are available. Your team decides on site what needs repairing.

Quotes and invoices

Which documents Griffi prepares.

01 · Live

Site visit and measurements

Enquiry, rooms and the agreed appointment are one case before you drive out to measure.

02 · Live as draft

Quote

After measuring, Griffi prepares a quote draft from your details. You check the items, quantities and prices.

03 · Manual handoff

Interim payment

Deposit and interim invoices are not an automated Griffi feature; they stay in your existing process.

04 · Live as invoice draft

Final invoice

Once you have checked the work, a standard invoice can be prepared, reviewed by you and sent manually.

Important: down-payment and partial invoices are not currently a dedicated automated Griffi feature. Interim payments remain in the company’s existing invoicing process; Griffi records information and tasks without promising automation that does not exist.

Frequently asked questions

Does Griffi quote a price per square metre on the phone?

No. Griffi asks the questions you have set and records the rooms, the rough area and the wishes as the customer states them. You work out the price after measuring.

Can Griffi book site visits?

Yes, with the Appointments & Follow-up module in addition to the AI Phone. Griffi then offers free slots from your Google or Microsoft calendar or from fixed time windows. Without the module, Griffi notes the preferred time and you call back.

Does Griffi write the quote for a bathroom job?

Griffi prepares a quote draft, for example from what you dictate after measuring. You check the items, quantities and prices, approve the quote and send it yourself.

What if the customer has already bought the tiles?

Griffi records that in the case as the customer’s statement, including format and quantity if you set those questions. Whether and on what terms you lay tiles the customer supplies is your decision.
