Your next invoice in dollars, with your approval.

Griffi is your digital office assistant: it prepares the office work around a customer job, while you approve the result. The US pilot is for trades and service businesses.

From the job to a reviewable result

  1. 1

    Start with the job

Use the customer and service details to prepare an invoice draft. The US pilot workflow uses USD and US English number and date formatting.

  2. 2

    Review the sale

Your business records the reviewed state, local jurisdiction, tax rate or zero-tax reason and supporting basis. An agent draft does not establish an exemption or determine your sales-tax obligations.

  3. 3

    Approve the invoice

Check the customer, lines, amounts and tax treatment before issuing an English PDF. Email delivery remains a deliberate, confirmed action.

  4. 4

    Keep the evidence together

Invoice records, corrections and the tax-review evidence captured at issuance stay available for a portable handoff to your accountant.

A clear scope for the first pilot

One domestic workflow first

The US pilot covers domestic US sales in USD. Start with one recurring job, one known recipient and a reviewed tax treatment. We agree the pilot scope with you before the first live invoice.

Tax review belongs to your business

Griffi records your explicit review. The pilot does not calculate nationwide rates, determine nexus, register your business for sales tax, issue 1099 forms or file returns with the IRS or any state. A blank review basis blocks invoice issuance rather than becoming an assumed zero-tax sale.

A PDF and email workflow

The US pilot uses ordinary English PDFs and confirmed email delivery. German ZUGFeRD, Factur-X and DATEV workflows are separate; their availability does not imply a US e-invoice mandate or US accounting integration.

A German business invoicing a US customer?

That is a separate workflow. We can discuss English invoices for business services from a German supplier to a US business. The supplier must review the customer’s business status, the service and its eligibility for the intended tax treatment. A US address alone is insufficient, and this is not a general route for goods or every type of service.

US invoice currency and Griffi subscription billing are separate. Existing subscription terms remain in EUR; this pilot does not introduce USD subscription prices.
