The invoice and the receipt, with the evidence beside it.
Keep office preparation and the accountant’s review connected. In the US pilot, Griffi brings invoice records, supplier receipts and their source files into one portable package.
From the job to a reviewable result
- 1
Capture the source
Upload a supplier receipt or invoice. The original stays available; OCR suggestions remain subject to human review, including the amount, date, supplier and currency.
- 2
Review uncertain values
An unclear receipt or unknown currency remains visible for review. Griffi does not infer a tax deduction, US account code or tax treatment from the image.
- 3
Choose the period
An authorised administrator selects a bounded date range. The handoff uses the invoice or receipt date, with a creation-date fallback for older records that lack it.
- 4
Hand it to your accountant
Download invoice and receipt CSVs, available original invoice PDFs, receipt originals and the recorded invoice tax evidence. Review receipts remain in the package and are marked for attention.
A clear scope for the first pilot
Portable source data
The package is a CSV and original-file handoff for human review. It is not a US general ledger, bank reconciliation, tax filing or a native QuickBooks integration. Agree the import or review process with your accountant before using a live case.
Amounts keep their currency
USD invoices retain their recorded amounts and tax breakdown. Receipts keep their explicit original currency; an ambiguous currency stays unknown. Griffi does not convert currencies or combine different currencies into one accounting total.
Evidence stays linked
The handoff includes the tax-review evidence retained with each issued invoice and checksums for the exported files. Corrections keep their document references. Older imported invoices without a source PDF are identified rather than presented as complete originals.
Keep your existing accounting process
Use the pilot to test one complete journey from a customer job and supplier receipt to your accountant’s review. Your accountant remains responsible for the final accounts, deductible expenses and returns. German DATEV and SKR account mappings are not applied to US tenants.
US invoice currency and Griffi subscription billing are separate. Existing subscription terms remain in EUR; this pilot does not introduce USD subscription prices.
